A Message From Bishop John O. Barres
The Eucharistic Revival has enkindled a missionary fire in the hearts of the American faithful. The final phase “Going out on Mission” encourages us to go out and share the love of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist to transform the world.
Faith is alive in our parishes and schools, soup kitchens and housing programs, on street corners and in churches. It is lived through people of all backgrounds, from every neighborhood. People everywhere come together to support one another. It is in this spirit that the Catholic Ministries Appeal exists: to bring support and build strong communities through faith and your generosity.
Every year, because of your support, the Annual Catholic Appeal gives us an opportunity to realize the difference we can make when we act together in God’s love. By serving the Lord with gladness, we can see the impact it has on so many lives, including our own. The ministries that rely on the Appeal are wide-ranging and have a direct impact on the Church and people of God throughout the Diocese.
I personally invite you to continue this mission by joining me again this year in making a gift to
the 2025 Catholic Ministries Appeal. Together we will embrace our apostolic roots and show the
world how beautiful it is to be Catholic!
Thank you for your support.
