Typically a position filled by youngsters ages 8 through 18, altar servers assist the priest throughout Mass. We also accept adult altar servers. Training is done here at the parish. If you or your child are interested, please speak with Carolyn Barnett, Kathy Hawkins, or contact the rectory.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion at Mass assist the priest in distributing the consecrated Eucharist. All ministers of Holy Communion should show the greatest reverence for the Most Holy Eucharist by their demeanor, their attire, and the manner in which they handle the consecrated host.
Should you be willing to serve at the table of the Lord, please contact the rectory. There is training for this ministry conducted by the Diocese.
Lectors proclaim the Word of God at each Mass. They process in with the book of the Gospels, and read both the Old Testament and New Testament readings for that day. They also read the Prayer of the Faithful (intentions) and the announcements.

It is said that when you sing in Church, you pray twice. While our choir has yet to return due to Covid, we will take your name if you would like to be a part.

Sacristans assist before and after Mass setting up the wine and hosts and sacred vessels. They also attend to altar linens. If you can help, please speak with Anne Martinez or contact the rectory.
Ushers are the first people to greet those entering our church. A warm welcome is the beginning of their experience of our Parish Family. The ushers also take up the collection and assist in seating when necessary, and securing the church after Mass.
